The hotel we stayed at for our adoption trip in 1996was the Jiangxi Huaxin Hotel (sometimes referred to as Jiangxi Hotel or Huaxin Hotel) . It was fine. They vacuumed the rooms each day and they were clean and in good condition, nothing fancy. The bathrooms were all western style toilets and showers, etc. with hot water (not for drinking). Hot water for drinking, etc. was provided in metal thermos-type pitchers that stayed hot for quite awhile. There was an attendant on the floor 24 hours a day that would bring you more hot water whenever you needed it. The laundry was quite inexpensive and well worth it.  When I stayed there again in 1999 it was a little more run down and seedy but still okay.  (PG)  

"There is a CITS (Jiangxi China International Travel Service) inside the hotel. The European/American/Asian Dept. Manager is Zeng Jian Hong, ("Mary"), she is fluent in english and very helpful"(JR)
