Amity/Altrusa Projects at the Yingtan Orphanage Include:

Schooling for eight children ranging from kindergarten through middle school.

Tuition at a Teacher's High School for one student.

Tuition and fees for a 17 year old young man (a talented artist) to attend his school for the deaf.  Also paid for his medical exams and hearing aids.

Foster care for six older children, ages ranging from 3 to 11 years old.

Open heart surgery for a schoolchild with congenital heart disease.

Hernia surgery, medical exams for children with other physical conditions, and orthopedic shoes for a child with club feet.
